Mini-Interviews for PA – #16 Producer & Audio Engineer David Travers-Smith

A mini-interview series for the Pivotal Arc release on Whirlwind Recordings
#16 in the series is producer and audio engineer/tonmeister David Travers-Smith!
David has been an integral part of nearly every recording of mine over the past 20 years. His focus on clear and transparent sounds and attention to detail is remarkable. He is also an ideal collaborator as his calm and engaged demeanour are an asset to any situation. A true tonmeister!

JP did an outstanding job with one of the most challenging books in the Violin Concerto, playing a multitude of instruments. He always had a positive vibe with a witty sense of humour. It was great to work with him after hearing him on recordings and knowing about him on the scene for many years!
